Rachel Briggs brings a strong background in creative writing, curriculum design, and cultural education to every program she leads. Her work is rooted in the conviction that storytelling is one of the most powerful tools we have to teach—and that every learner deserves to be seen, heard, and challenged.

As an educator and cultural explorer, Rachel has spent years building learning experiences that bridge disciplines: literature meets engineering, kitchen math meets choreography, history meets robotics. The goal is always the same— spark curiosity, build confidence, and connect students to the long, ongoing story of human innovation.

Through Dream Through STEAM RI, Rachel is creating a space where the genius of African American innovators is not a footnote but a foundation, and where every student is invited to imagine what they will contribute next.
